Cat People came together the way the best bands do, friends from other bands finding each other and making something new. Jennifer Gay, Kiyan Fox, and Amber Marie brought the fire from Witches Titties, Lou brought the depth from Star Meets Sea, and together they landed somewhere between punk, wave, and psych with a sound that feels like nothing else in Seattle.
They’ve played house shows and Pride events, Folk Life and art walks, dive bars and benefit shows. Five songs recorded at Peel Studios are out now on every platform, and they’re just getting started, aiming for more gigs, festivals and a music video coming up!
